About Our Organisation
Anya Dhrupad Welfare Organisation is a popular cultural and social organisation in North Bengal which works especially for the differently able people and the backward people in the society. It was established on 26th January 2016 and was registered on 3rd May, 2019. The organisation is a registered society under Registration No. S0004270 of 2019–20, is listed on the NGO Darpan portal with Unique ID WB/2021/0297832, is associated with MY BHARAT under the Ministry of Youth & Sports Affairs, Government of India, and holds valid 12A and 80G certifications.
This organization works in various fields of art, recitation, music, dance, instrumental music, etc. for the poor, backward and people with special needs. Different stage performances are done with talented artists who are capable in other ways. There are many tribes scattered in the surrounding areas. Their own culture, traditional heritage is lost due to lack of patronage. This organization gives the opportunity to them to be present on stage. Workshops are organized on different aspects of art and different parts of folk art. There are plans to build a folk art museum in the future. In addition to the art, yoga classes and workshops are organized for physical exercise.
Child and female development has been chosen by this organisation as another important social field to work. There are plans to set up an orphanage for the underprivileged and disadvantaged children so that the children can get real physical and mental development there. There will always be efforts for cultural development.
Beyond its core mission, Anya Dhrupad Welfare Organisation strongly believes that social inclusion begins with dignity and opportunity. By creating safe and encouraging platforms, the organisation helps individuals from marginalized backgrounds rediscover confidence, self-worth, and a sense of belonging within society.
